How to make a shirt blanket by hand. Lay the pattern over the back or front of each shirt (whichever part you want on the quilt) and make sure the design is centered as much as possible. Or you can say it’s a yard and a half and the full width of the fabric. Cut the strand of yarn and tie double knot.

Then, you will want short strips to run between each shirt. Firmly press your hand in the paint and practice a few prints on paper before applying to the shirt. Layer the batting between the top and backing, and pin the three layers together.
