How to read an audiogram bone conduction. The closer all the symbols are to the top of the audiogram graph, the better your hearing is. The audiogram shows the minimum volume at which a person can detect a tone played at the particular frequency. The pattern & position of the air and bone conduction results for each ear can be interpreted by the audiologist to explain the extent, nature and possible cause of any results that fall outside of the normal range.
